TAP-2000 TAP Alpha Paging Concentrator

The TAP-2000 The TAP2000 is the affordable Alpha traffic manager that the paging world has been demanding. With Alpha Numeric paging enjoying rapid growth in today's marketplace, the service provider has often found himself holding his sales force back because his paging terminal can not handle the steady growth in Alpha Numeric paging traffic.

The TAP2000 is designed to expand the number of Alpha Numeric inputs by utilizing the terminal's computer interface ports to handle Alpha Numeric traffic.

This field configurable TAP2000 supports 24 inputs through either built-in modems, direct RS232 connections, or any blend of the two. It decodes error codes sent to the Alpha entry device into plain English, such as "message length exceeded". Formatted billing data can be sent to your billing computer via a serial port.

The built-in TDD feature allows you to offer access to your terminal without adding separate modems and lines. This economical feature allows companies to comply with the American Disabilities Act.
